Rare 1892 Columbian Exposition TAILOR'S THIMBLE from the Chicago World's Fair. This antique silver thimble is in excellent condition! No dents or signs of wear. Monogram plate is empty except a stamp of the number 13 on the far right. A Tailor's Thimble differs from most thimbles as it is open on the top and is traditionally worn on the thumb or middle finger. Simon's Bros made sterling silver thimbles on site at the Fair.
