Hello, you are viewing my listing for an Antique Child's Rocking Horse.  This is a Primitive Americana, Folk Art, Single Spring, Child's Rocking Horse.  This is a great piece of early American Toy Rocking Horse.  This item was purchased from a WWII Veteran who stated that he had this horse as a young child.  This rocking horse has a single spring in the front.  When a child sits on the seat the front spring makes the seat go up and down.  Simple design and yet I am confident that a child would have loved this toy day after day.  This wood rocking horse weighs 7.8 pounds and measures 21" tall by 27" long by 15" wide.  There is some minor wear present which shows that this rocking horse was used. There are no breaks or repairs present.  I am unsure if this was a homemade rocking horse or a kit that was put together.  I see no makers mark present.  LOCAL PICKUP IS ACCEPTED AND PREFERRED.
