Description
Heritage Rocking Horses were made from 1989 until the early 2000s by the Koren family in Jacksonville Fl. Each horse was handcrafted by a member of the family from premium materials, named and signed upon completion. Every Heritage horse was unique and offered as a future family heirloom through their mail-order catalog and some high-end department stores. This is a Classic because it was painted wood; the Deluxe horses had fully "upholstered" fur. They sold for 0-800. Besides the premium construction, they were thoughtfully constructed for comfort; the seats were rounded like a real saddle, rather than being a flat piece of wood. This horse is named Silverado, and was constructed in 1990. My daughter thought it was too nice to use as a toy so except for briefly carrying her 35 lbs several times, it was ridden by stuffed animals until it was no longer appropriate for a Big Girl's room. Original tag is included.
The horse can be picked up 15 miles northwest of Hartford, CT.
Since the cost of shipping via regular carriers may be prohibitive, Greyhound shipping is a great alternative if you pick it up at a terminal near you. As of 4/14 this could go anywhere in the lower 48 states for 0 (to Los Angeles) ( to Chicago) or less.
