Empty vintage Houbigant Monsieur after shave lotion, 4 fl oz with removable belt

Here is an empty bottle that held Monsieur after shave lotion, a fragrance by Houbigant. This fragrance was introduced in 1967 and was discontinued in just a few years.
The bottle is 4.5 inches tall. The fluid volume was 4 fl. oz. The black tinted glass has a pinkish-orange houndstooth-like print. But the best thing about these old bottles of Houbigant Monsieur is the fact that they were decorated with a belt. The pinkish-orange print on the bottle is in pretty good condition for its age. Some areas are a little faded or discolored on the front of the bottle, probably due to contact with the aftershave. As for the cap, some of the pinkish-orange print has rubbed off entirely, although most is still intact.
The black belt fits just tightly enough around the bottle to keep from falling off. It is removable, but the bottle looks fantastic with it, so I recommend keeping it on, especially since the bottle is now empty and there's no risk of spilling any aftershave on the belt. If you do wish to remove the belt, just wiggle it off with your fingers. It does not need to be unbuckled. The buckle has a few tarnish specks on it, but that just adds character.
The inside of the bottle still carries the smell of the aftershave. It smells great. Monsieur Houbigant was advertised in newspapers and magazines into the early 1970s. The latest reference to this fragrance I could find was in an April 1972 issue of an industry journal called "Chemist & Druggist."
