Up for auction is a vintage
Guerlain
Dummy perfume bottle for the fragrance
Chamade
.   A dummy perfume bottle is used in a store to display the bottle and usually is filled with colored water with alcohol.  This bottle DOES NOT contain perfume.   I was going to empty the bottle, but since it appears to be sealed with the gold cording, I decided to ship it with the liquid and will seal the neck with parafilm so there is not leakage.  Chamade was introduced in 1969 and was inspired by a film that Catherine Deneuve made called:
La Chamade

Bottle is in good condition other than the chip on the opper right corner of the underside polished base.  See last photo.
Original content (shown on the foot of the bottle is 1 Fl Oz).
There is no box.
Bottle design is an interpretation of the perfume’s name “Chamade”, which means “The wild beating of the heart”
The glass body of the perfume is shaped into the form of an inverted heart
The theory was that if a woman wears this fragrance, it will turn a man’s heart upside down
On some bottles I have had, I noticed that the center of the bottle with the perfume, appears to be red (beating heart resemblance)—that shows up in all the photos.  I don’t know if this was a special design feature, because oftentimes when I have seen the bottles, they are all clear glass.  I don't think the red is very clear in this presentation.
Glass Teardrop Stopper shape has the name of fragrance written in gold, and is in very good condition
On the foot of the bottle, one side reads GUERLAIN in gold and the other side reads: Net Cont 1 Fl Oz
Underside of the bottle is polished, and there is a small chip off the corner under the Fl oz. (see last photo)
There is some white font which reads :
Bottle Made in France

Scratched in the underside is the word:  DUMMY
Height of the bottle is: about 6 inches tall
