    Condition
:   This bottle is in nice clean condition.  It has a few thin flakes of glass out of the very top, so thin and small that a magnifying class was used to see if they were flakes or just a flaw.   Otherwise there isn't anything specifically wrong with it.  NO cracks, chips, dings, damage, etc.  Glass stopper is NOT stuck in the neck.  The stopper has the base-break, where it was broken off the blow-pipe in the factory when manufactured.   PLEASE see photos for overall appearance of the PAPER LABEL on this bottle, etc

    Shipping
: FREE domestic shipping.   We DO ship International but we do NOT insure International orders unless buyer specifically requests this and we are able to provide an insurance estimate.  If an international shipping charge is much more than the actual shipping cost, we will refund the excess so what YOU pay for shipping/insurance is very close to, if not exactly, the ACTUAL shipping costs! This is important for foreign buyers to know as most of our foreign shipping charges are estimates.  We do not falsify information on the Customs Form, such as a price other than what the actual purchase price is, so please do not request us to do so. We ship several times a week and your prompt payment will hasten the turn-around time

An incredibly beautiful antique glass LARKIN perfume bottle.  Note it is embossed the Larkin Soap Mfg. Co?   I have seen them embossed the Larkin Company, the Larking Soap Company, but I can't remember seeing the Larkin Soap Manufacturing Company embossing before?!    These are getting hard to find with the original glass stopper and are scarcely found with the original paper, and a super

ou hear about old glass turning purple with age?
The beautiful purple amethyst color of this bottle is the result of being made with manganese in the glass, a mineral that was pulverized and added to vats of liquid glass that acted as a decolorizing agent to turn the natural aqua-tinted glass into a pure crystal clear colorless glass.  Exposure to ultraviolet rays of the sun or other sources of UV rays, triggers a chemical reaction and the manganese oxidizes and turns a wonderful amethyst color.  This bottle has been exposed to a high heat/light source to enrich the purple color that would naturally occur if exposed to sun light for a prolonged period of time.   With few exceptions, only glass made before 1914 will turn purple.  Not only does this deep purple/amethyst color make this a great looking bottle, but it also authenticates it as being truly antique

All of this makes for a super nice looking antique bottle
