    Description

Here is a very antique, multi-faceted perfume bottle (with original box and crystal dauber) of Roger & Gallet's long-discontinued Fleurs d'Amour with some perfume still left in the bottle.
Size is approx 3-1/4 inches tall and 1-1/4 inches across.
Box front has an Art Deco-woodcut style image of a vase of flowers and says Roger & Gallet Paris. Box in general, which feels almost like it's felted, shows some wear and is missing the very top flap.
Crystal bottle seems to be in very good condition with no cracks or chips and the silver foil label looks intact too.
Bottom of the bottle is stamped Roger & Gallet, Made in France. There is also a small round label that says: Grand Prix Paris 1849, Paris, France with an address and is stamped with a batch code? that says D 49 in red ink.
Please note that the dauber has a factory flaw - an air bubble is visible in the long slender crystal stem. The stopper is in a 'lily' shape and is multi-faceted. There is no rubber around the stopper, which indicates it was probably made in the 1930s? before rubber came into wide commercial production after WWII. But I cannot date this bottle other than to say that it's super-old.
The perfume itself does not smell rancid, but I am selling this as a collectible bottle as the fragrance inside has doubtlessly deteriorated over the years and seems light to me.
Please ask questions and review the photos carefully as there are no returns.
